Sequoia’s 6th Grade Media class is a hands-on introduction to photography, filming and editing. Students will be using various curriculum to empower and gain photography, videography, audio technology, and editing skills, while creating individual, partner, and small group videos/projects for our school community. My objective is to offer a class that empowers students, is interactive, and builds a positive experience for each student.Students will participate and complete projects throughout the semester using several different learning platforms, with the main focus using iMovie with the classroom iPads. Students will not be using their own recording device/cell phone. Some student/group projects will be viewed by Sequoia students, staff, and our CVUSD/Sequoia community.
