Sequoia’s Digital Production class is open to a limited number of 7th and 8th grade students. Students will learn skills in videography, audio technology, editing, and will be responsible for creating promotional videos, school videos, morning video announcements (KSEQ), as well as produce KA19 podcast interviews and LiveStream events for CREW. Students need to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and be able to comfortably interact with others, including guest speakers/adults.
Students will be on camera for projects that are viewed by  Sequoia students, staff, and CVUSD. This is a hands on class, and members of the class must be able to work independently/in small groups, be self motivated/self paced, and compete tasks according to specific deadlines.
Many of our school videos can be viewed on our YouTube Channel (KA19_SMS), and our podcasts can be heard on our SoundCloud Channel (KA19_SMS).
